Grain Brewery are returning to The New Inn in 2018 for the Easter Weekend. This event is for all those interested in the current biggest question for Beer drinkers... ‘Cask vs Keg vs Can’. We will have at least 6 beers in all three options. Try cask conditioned, keg dispensed or poured straight from a can - you decide what’s best! More details to follow.

Building on last year’s success, we are going Dark again for the weekend in July. We’re going to put on as many dark beers as possible through our hand pumps starting Thursday going through to Sunday...if you were here last year, same format just hopefully more beers than last! More info to follow although we have a Bishop Nick ‘Witch Hunt’ & a Titanic Grand Reserve Plum Porter laid down already for it!

To celebrate the 1st birthday of Other Monkey Brewing, they are hosting a tap takeover at Three Wise Monkeys.
We will be presenting to Cider POTY and POTY Runners-up awards to The Victoria Inn, as well as the Cider of the Festival award to Dave Souch at around 6.30pm, during the Music interval.
We will be presenting the POTY Highly Commended Award to the Live and Let Live (time TBC) to coincide with Pete & Gez’s 10th anniversary at the pub.
Beer and cider festival, starting at 3pm on 4th May with a large selection of real ales, ciders and more, plus live music and food. 10% off for CAMRA members too!
Run in partnership with Two Brews, there will be 6 key keg beers outside, 3 key keg beers inside as well as a fridges containing various cans and bottles chosen to suit all tastes. The wonderful people from Hog-It will providing an extensive menu of food, including a hog roast, BBQ food and vegan options.
Multiple locations to enjoy fine ale and cider in a Historic Port. No locations more than 2 mins from the next!

"Our 15th Birthday and fourth Al Festo festival will include a beer festival kicking off proceedings on the evening of Friday 20 July with Jack’s ‘Bonfire Pork Chilli’ & ‘Black Bean Chilli’ available. The beer festival will run throughout Saturday 21 July and into Al Festo on Sunday with live acoustic music, 6 acts – details to follow. The events will be fully tented so come rain or shine, we hope you will join us to celebrate 15 years of being at The Sun Inn, Dedham!"
