Three Wise Monkeys & Other Monkey Brewing The Taproom have teamed up to bring you a massive Oktoberfest celebration across 2 venues… From Thursday 28th September – Sunday 1st October they will be celebrating our annual Oktoberfest. Once again they’ll have a tap takeover of authentic German beers, all available in Steins (while stocks last).

There will be no Oompah bands, no 1ltr steins, no lederhosen, but there will be 4 German beers on for you to enjoy!!

They might have a pretzel or 2 though!!

Eight years ago Ale Trail was born when the Harwich & Dovercourt Winter Ale Festival was cancelled. Well, it’s happened again so the idea for a second Harwich Winter Ale Trail came up! Subject to confirmation this will be 30 November to 3 December 2023. Please note Harwich Ale Trail is a collaboration between pubs and other venues around Historic Harwich and is not an official CAMRA beer and cider festival, although previous Ale Trails have been supported by members of local CAMRA branches.

Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th December 2023, 11am-4pm.

Cash bar where you can have a pint and try before you buy and purchase beer gifts for your nearest and dearest.

BBQ food, the Christmas music will be playing and Tom, the head brewer, will be doing a talk and tour at 2pm.

They also have gin, vodka and rum from Suffolk Distillery, wines from New Hall Wine Estate and ciders from Celtic Marches, Pulp Cider Co and Snailsbank cider.

Open 11:00am to 9:00pm Wed-Sat, 11:00am to 5:30pm on Sun.
